Oh gee, was asking myself “I can’t believe I’m now in Middle Eeast Asia. This part of the world has always been a mysterious place to me! Doha, the capital city of the state of Qatar. Located on the Persian Gulf, it had a population of 998,651 and is also one of the municipalities of Qatar. Doha is Qatar’s largest city, with over 80% of the nation’s population residing in Doha or its surrounding suburbs, and is also the economic centre of the country. No wonder I seldom see people on the streets and only a handful number of vehicles in the city which i thought it will be very congested.
The sun was scorching hot, just a short distance of walking not only dehydrated our body fluid but also exhausted all our energy. Fortunately, we were very lucky to hitch a ride from a random passerby. A good man of course, and drove us back to the city center from a deserted piece of land, which deemed as a shopping attractions. (no shops opened & no sight of people at all!!!)
Not houses finely roofed or the stones of walls well builded, nay nor canals and DOCKYARDS make the city, but men able to use their opportunity.
